Website Technology Checker

Enter any URL to see which CMS, frameworks, analytics and ad tags, CDN and server the website uses.

The address you enter is only used for the check and is not stored.

How to use

  1. 1Enter the website address.
  2. 2Press “Detect”; we fetch the page and analyze its HTML and headers.
  3. 3Review the detected technologies, grouped by category.

What we can detect

CMS and e-commerce platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Tilda and Bitrix (plus Turkish platforms Ticimax, IdeaSoft, T-Soft and İkas); JavaScript frameworks and libraries including Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, Gatsby, React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, jQuery, Bootstrap and Tailwind; analytics and ad tags (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Yandex Metrica); hosting/CDN and servers (Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, nginx, Apache, IIS, LiteSpeed); and Google Fonts.

How detection works

We read the signals a site exposes publicly: the generator meta tag, script and stylesheet URLs (e.g. /wp-content/ or cdn.shopify.com), cookie names in Set-Cookie headers, Server and X-Powered-By headers, and known globals in inline scripts such as __NEXT_DATA__ or gtag(). It is a single-page check of the HTML the server returns, so tools loaded only after user interaction or through a tag manager may not appear.

Practical uses

Agencies use it to qualify leads (“which prospects run an outdated platform?”), marketers to see whether a competitor runs Meta or TikTok ads tracking, and developers to estimate migration effort before quoting. Site owners can use it to verify their own tags fire on the page and to spot what their stack reveals to attackers — hiding version numbers in generator tags and headers is a cheap hardening step.

Frequently asked questions

Why wasn’t a technology detected?

Some sites strip fingerprints, render everything through a single bundle, or load tags via Google Tag Manager after the page loads. We only analyze the server’s HTML and headers, not scripts injected later.

Can I tell which WordPress theme or plugins a site uses?

This tool identifies the platform itself. Theme and plugin names are often visible in /wp-content/themes/ and /wp-content/plugins/ paths in the page source.

Is it legal to check a website’s technology?

Yes. We only read information every browser receives when visiting the public page.

Why does it say Cloudflare instead of the real host?

When a site is behind a CDN or reverse proxy, the headers come from the proxy. The actual origin host is intentionally hidden.
