How to use
- 1Drag your images onto the page or click to choose them (several at once is fine).
- 2Choose a text watermark (font, color) or upload a logo (transparent PNG works best).
- 3Pick a position on the 9-point grid or Tile, and adjust opacity, size, rotation and shadow.
- 4Click “Apply watermark” and download each image, or “Download all”.
Text or logo watermark
A text watermark such as “© Your Brand” or your website address is quick to set up: choose a font (sans, serif, mono, Impact, Georgia or script) and a color, and optionally add a shadow so it stays readable on light areas. A logo watermark uses an image file — a PNG with a transparent background looks cleanest. The size is set as a percentage of the image width, so the watermark scales correctly across photos of different resolutions.
Placement that’s hard to remove
A small mark in a corner is discreet but easy to crop out. For stronger protection, place it over the subject, rotate it diagonally or choose Tile to repeat it across the whole image. Opacity between about 30% and 60% keeps the photo visible while making the mark difficult to edit away. No watermark is impossible to remove, but a well-placed one deters casual reuse and keeps your name attached to the image.
Batch watermarking in your browser
Add many photos and the same settings are applied to all of them, with a live preview. Output can keep the original format or be saved as JPEG, PNG or WebP. Images are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded, which matters for client work and unpublished photos.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a watermark to a photo for free?
Upload the photo, type your text or add your logo, choose the position and opacity, then click “Apply watermark” and download it.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Select several images; the same watermark is applied to each, and “Download all” saves them.
What is the best opacity for a watermark?
Around 30–60% is a good range: visible enough to identify the owner without spoiling the photo.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Watermarks are applied in your browser and the files stay on your device.
