Merging without uploading
Most online PDF tools send your files to a server. This one uses the open-source pdf-lib library inside your browser, so contracts, bank statements, CVs and medical letters stay on your device. The library is loaded only when you add your first file.
What is kept when merging
All pages are copied as they are — text, images, fonts and page sizes are preserved, so mixed A4 and Letter pages stay as they were. Interactive extras such as bookmarks or form fields may not carry over into the merged file, since only the pages are combined.
Common uses
Merge a cover letter, CV and certificates into one job application; combine monthly invoices or statements for your accountant; or join scanned pages that were saved as separate files. If you only need some pages from a file, extract them first with Split PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?
Yes. The files are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded.
Can I change the order of the files?
Yes, drag the files into the order you want before merging.
Why does a PDF fail to load?
Password-protected or damaged PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then try again.
Is there a file limit?
There is no fixed limit; very large files are limited only by your device’s memory.
